Yesterday was a particulary heavy day with links to the blog, above are today's figures, just after noon. Yesterday I had just under 7,000 visitors, mainly because an American newsight picked up on story about the Pope. There was a high number of views from the Holy See as well, 4% at one time, all those American Monsignori playing around on their computors, trying to shake of the Christmas holidays. Normally just over a thousand people log on, though it has been down a bit over Christmas.

Meanwhile back in the real world two of my parishioners, Rosie Auckland and Terry Williams, died yesterday.

You also got a whole post to yourself from Damian Thompson, of Holy Smoke fame!

Mac, that's because Damon has heard the Vatican Rumor that the reason it's taking so long to select the next Cardinal, is that the pope is considering skipping over all the "likely" candidates and go right to Father Blake. Rumor has it (rumor starts here!) that there's even been a "Brake for Blake" bumper sticker on the popemobile.

Here is a stupid question, but how do do know where the traffic is coming from?

I am afraid I am not techie-minded.

Mac:

Are you suggesting that Fr. should state the obvious? I can't beleive you didn't know that this started in the small hours of yesterday morning.

The United States rules! We hit your site the most, because we need more sites like yours in the US!! We got ETWN and the OCN(Orthodox Church Network), great general sites, informative and large, but we need your style blogs for that personal discussion. Your site is an international forum for important life issues. A sword against the liberal sites of injustice!!!

By the way to 'Old Believer' and other Eastern Christians of the Slavic world, Ethiopia and the Middle East: "Chrystos Razhdaetsy! Slavite Yoho!" CHRIST IS BORN! GLORIFY HIM!. MERRY JULIAN CALENDAR CHRISTMAS!! 07 JAN 2009+
