You would have to insert the adjective "klein" before it if you wish to suggest small as in "small parasol" which accounts for the "ino" in the Italian.<BR/><BR/>On the subject of things "Germanic Italian", there is a story going around that B16's Italian isn't as good as JP2's. Any views on this? I spotted a mistake in his first unscripted speech when he appeared on the loggia 2 years ago. In contrast, when JP2 appeared in 1978 he spoke for much longer (over 5 minutes) and flawlessly. Moreover, he hadn't had the benefit of living there for the preceeding 20 years (although he was a much younger man than our current Holy Father:- 58 when compared to 78).
