I can think of nothing that is actually more misogynistic than that, although some things are equally so, notably the view that the preborn child is simultaneously insentient and a part of the woman’s body".

Do you know, that never struck me before but you are absolutely right, everyone is shouting about being accepted for who and what they are,but at the expense of the people you mention.Women and children(babies). It's outrageous when you think of it,and now,due to the suicide bill thingy, the old and infirm will feel that they too are a burden on 'society',whatever that word constitutes in man's mind these days.Lord save us.mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06962374096401238994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-86382035635869822772009-09-24T18:10:10.319+01:002009-09-24T18:10:10.319+01:00That "Prophets and Priests" book is exce...That "Prophets and Priests" book is excellent. St Austen did it no favours with the naff naff naff cover and poor print quality, but it is well worthy buying, reading, and lending around.

There's a new book on "anti-smoking" out, which I have lined up to read to compare the tactics used by the more manic anti-smoking types with the population control/sex ed/family planning lobby. Maybe someone with a more systematic mind than mine would be interested in writing up something of the sort?berenikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16917803593444075354noreply@blogger.com
