That would have been ideal. But under the diocesan plan, aren't there a number of conjoined parishes, which means there must be a church and presbytery going spare somewhere in the diocese.
It's fabulous that the order is establishing in Cornwall, given the west country's record of attempting to keep the faith during the Reformation.
It might be a bit stickier to find a place in A&B, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-31365455025867396222009-03-05T09:03:00.000+00:002009-03-05T09:03:00.000+00:00Oh, let them come to Scotland - please!Oh, let them come to Scotland - please!Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16664129156841386638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-42568393041537916292009-03-05T08:24:00.000+00:002009-03-05T08:24:00.000+00:00Dear Father, I attended Mass there in late Janua...Dear Father,

I attended Mass there in late January. During the week they commence at 07.30 and 10.00 on Sundays and Holydays of Obligation. The Masses are missa cantata everyday: surely a rarity in Britain?

The monastery has a relic of Saint Cuthbert Mayne, the proto-martyr of seminarians, which venerated on Sunday after Mass.

The Monastery is in St Mawgan, close to Newquay, and close to the presently Anglican 13th century church.

In Christo,
Anthony BidgoodAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-78055660779147016042009-03-04T20:40:00.000+00:002009-03-04T20:40:00.000+00:00Corrected, Ottaviani.Corrected, Ottaviani.Fr Ray Blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05584140126211527252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-18383286038892204372009-03-04T19:06:00.000+00:002009-03-04T19:06:00.000+00:00Ad multos annosAd multos annosBrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11137669025213543871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-55607418603519324082009-03-04T19:04:00.000+00:002009-03-04T19:04:00.000+00:00Your link to Rorate is a bit off.
