But two things stood out:

1) there was no mention of anyone representing the Queen; and

2) there was no mention of, or sight of, the Blairs being present.

Both interesting, for different reasons.Richardnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-45922598964091718662009-05-21T13:52:38.647+01:002009-05-21T13:52:38.647+01:00I listened to the homily at the installation Mass ...I listened to the homily at the installation Mass for Archbishop Dolan of New York a few weeks ago and the latter half of Archbishop Nichols homily/sermon. There is no comparison. Archbishop Dolan means business and warned the establishment that when you attack the unborn the Catholic Churh is like Mother Bear with her bear cubs in peril. Asking for a civil hearing for catholic teaching is rather low key. We continue to be the dog with the tail between its legs - too scared to say anything that mught upset someone. Reinvigorating church leadership was inevitable a dead sheep could have done it!Jonathannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-49434740725127556112009-05-21T11:29:19.811+01:002009-05-21T11:29:19.811+01:00Head in the Clouds!Head in the Clouds!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-1157957186391609452009-05-21T11:19:20.919+01:002009-05-21T11:19:20.919+01:00Nice photo - he looks at home.Nice photo - he looks at home.Deliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01383433319373651830noreply@blogger.com
