A few eventually trickle into the Catholic Church. Others are near-atheists.

But the sidelining of Christianity in the UK is a sidelining of all Christianity. It is happening. And so-called progressive liberals, in reality sub-Marxists, hate Christianity and see Islam as OK, ignoring its extreme illiberality. To be seen as anti-Islam is to invite condemnation as a racist. That is how the public discourse goes in Britain.

Right wing racist groups are taking advantage of the way that the left is ignoring widespread public concerns and things will eventually turn nasty. Two more successful terrorist attacks would unleash people's fury. And the extremist Muslims are well aware of this. The situation is dangerous. Unfortunately, the quality of public debate in Britain is poor. Some newspapers follow the liberal line. Others are whipping up anti-immigrant sentiment. There is little balanced debate.Physiocrathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13682019625346594568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31069882.post-78815525019836069512008-06-08T22:04:00.000+01:002008-06-08T22:04:00.000+01:00I think the Church of England are living on their ...I think the Church of England are living on their own planet with this report's "findings".

Of course the UK Government are courting Islam.
