Well I never. I had to look it up on IMDB because l couldn't believe it was really directed by THE great Stanley Kubrick, and IT IS!!!!! Well we all have to start somewhere.
That is just wonderful. I think we can see where one of the inspirations for the film "Lillies of the Field" came from, which is itself a low-budget masterpiece. Also, composer Nathaniel Shilkret introduced at least one subtlety into his score, featuring the Palestrina "Adoremus Te Christe" during the Benediction scene. I wonder if that baby grew up to know what that remarkable priest had done for him. I hope so. Thanks fo sharing that, Padre.
