The week before we handed out almost 1000 Miraculous Medals, not for our parishioners but for them to give to other people, to evangelise.

Well done Father - really cheered me up. Let us hope that the celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception might spread to certain OTHER parts of the Diocese. I know it was Monday but could we not have had at the very least one Mass - and don't let anyone tell me there is a shortage of priests - we have three.

I was in Lourdes (for the first time) for the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Got a chance to evangelise on my local bus coming home last night from Lourdes - a young guy got on who had just saved a fellow from drowning. I gave him a medal from Lourdes. He had never heard of Bernadette or Lourdes and was very moved and said he would look it up when he got home. He said he had lots of questions to ask when he dies - I told him he can get answers now:) He is happy to be alive because he nearly died himself - please pray for him!
