Former Server on the Media and the Pope
I have a great deal of respect for my servers, invariably they learn wisdom from the liturgy. I like to think of them friends, after all we ascend to the altar of the living God together. Here is a piece from one of my former servers, who I much admire for his insight, cleverness and learning, as well as his faith, it is on the media and the Pope.

I now hold him in a higher light, and you too Pater. God bless.
Best article by Tim Stanley yet. Hope lots more to come.
Thanks for this Father. A great article from Tim Stanley - very encouraging.
Good article. it's not about left and right, its about the world and Christ. that's what the media are clueless (maybe) about and thats what pop-pundit-preachers seem determined to conflate - but in this case it should remain 'never the twain'.
on a catholic website recently the person posting lamented the ‘un-sacramental’ environment (meaning, I think, feeling exiled from the sacred outside the liturgy when having to return to the 'world' (for many of us that exile is all too familiar within the 'liturgy)) and so would have a ‘sacramental social doctrine' insisting on a need for a 'sacramental sense of the world, and of social doctrine'. is the author of the above comments trying to pervert the people in the pews by deliberately encouraging them to mingle the sacred and the profance? Or is the mind of the author so shaped by an ignorance of the uniqueness of the transcendent making Himself available through a uniquely consecrated Church as to have such a pagan understanding of Christ that they don't know the voice of the true Shepherd, for whom the world is the place of wolves, not comfort and a 'sense of sacredness'?
