I do not think he is loving it. But I think he is foolish to jump in to what has been only `reports` so far and nothing in the media but himself. He ended `let us pray` and we certainly should be on our knees.

I think that Michael Voris loves the fact that we might finally be getting an understanding of the extent of the filth in the Church of which previous popes have spoken and hinted. I don't believe that he is the least bit surprised at the seriousness of these allegations, I'm certainly not. I rejoice that some of the thieves, the careerists and the disordered may be exposed and deprived of the chance to do further harm.
If this be true, God help us. The Pope will need to muster all his resources to manage this one. UNLESS it is the catalyst he needs to put the broom through the curia... mmm..

No, it's almost as though Voris wants this and worse to be true. It fits his apocalyptic narrative which increasingly paints 99% of clergy as somehow beyond the pale. God love him.

Vorris is part of the narrative Tracy Rowland speaks about, the politico-theological baggage.
On some instances he might well be right, not everything is evil, not everything the work of the devil. 'Lies and falsehoods' are not the dominant theme in the life of Christians, they are present but Christ is victorious.
Christ is the Saviour, not us, so we have to search for the good which will overcome the evil.
I feel sick to my stomach every time I hear about stuff like this. It seems like we're being fed a constant drip drip drip of new allegations. When will it end?
I am increasingly of the opinion that the explanation given by Pope Francis' spokesman for "empty seat" at the concert was nothing but the simple truth: there are urgent problems that require his immediate attention.
Pray not only for the victims, but also for Pope Francis and those people - civil and religious - who must confront this evil. Pray that they may remember that evil is powerless before the Cross. Utterly powerless, except for the power to convince us that it is strong, thereby leading us to inaction and despair. Christ HAS conquered.
@Amfortas: I used to feel the same way about Voris, but I think that much of it is down to his unfortunate collection of facial expressions and desperate need of a haircut. If you listen to him without looking at him, and perhaps try and imagine that someone else is speaking, his voice doesn't come across with the same subtext as his mugshot.

I know Voris says a lot that makes sense and needs to be said. I just find him a bit hard to take at times. This may be more about style than substance but not always.

I like Michael Voris.
I think that he tells things as they are and there is no way that he is "enjoying" what he has to report.
I only hope that he is not just a Voice crying in the wilderness!

Thanks, yes I noticed, I suppose the empty chair and meeting with Cardinals was about the IOR arrests today and not about sex rings, it seems as if the Card Vicar was right, that for the most part Poggi was an unhinged fabricator.

You can tell how bad the situation is by
(1) they were selling Hosts to Satanists
(2) the ex-priest, after serving a prison sentence for pedophile crimes, seriously thought he could be reinstated by the Vatican. Wow.
I don't know. Would this priest be allowed to do penance for the rest of his life in a monastery somewhere? Would a monastery take him?
Well, lets see how quickly the Vatican, will, er, sort out the Vatican. Do you think there will be some laicizations?
I see that John L. Allen in his latest Report from Rome in the National Catholic Reporter has taken the line that the Police themselves have dismissed Poggi's claims and are taking no further action based on his accusations.
