God provided! Brian went off home and on the street there was a twenty pound note, then he found a tenner, so today he was back to give thanks. Now Brian is asking about Holy Communion.
Pray for him (and the person who lost 30 quid).

Hi Father, you came to my home the other day after the tragic loss of my son Joseph...

you just made me laugh out loud. Not easy right now...
we will see you in the morning.x
I can vouch for the truth of the statement that prayer works. I have been surprised at times and answered prayers give great joy. The thing to remember is to give thanks for the answered prayer.
As Woody Allen said, "Oh that God would give me a sign- like a large deposit in my name in a Swiss bank account!"
Only a couple of days ago I was reading about a man who goes around in America giving $100 notes to strangers. Apparently he has given thousands of dollars away to complete strangers.
A hopeless drug addict was given an ultimatum by his wife to say a prayer. He did and he became a recipient of this man's generosity the very next day. It was then reported that the addict was so impressed that he has seriously set himself on the road to recovery and it genuinely looks as if this time the recovery will actually happen. He has also taken up praying more often and begun going to church.
God bless you Brian, and may Our Lady watch over you on your path to Holy Communion.
Those souls did not lose the thirty.
Their Guardian Angels had them place them there for him to find.
