Good News: St Janarius' blood liquified

At the annual ceremony which took place today in Naples presided over, for the first time, by Cardinal Sepe, St Janarius' blood liquified. If it stays solid it is bad news for the city.
Audible sighs of relief filled the city.

I think I have tried to comment here before and for some reason it doesn't work, but I'll try again.

Could you please start to include news links to the original stories when you post them? I clicked on the link at the top of the blog and it brought me only to another section of your blog. I have been unable to find the photo you have here and there is only one story available on the liquefaction on Google News. I would dearly love to have the original article.

I have noticed that in many cases, your headline links only to the permalink on your blog and there is no link to a news story online.

Is this on purpose?

Hilary, see Roman Miscellany for a good account of St Janarius.
