1923 Eucharistic Congress

Hallowed Ground always has the most glorious archival photographs, for some reason I always have difficulty downloading it, but it is worth it.
Now, we have water in Brighton, is there a pious ship builder who might help with a little project for a Thursday after Trinity Sunday next year?

Somehow, I don't see a Eucharistic Congress, with the old-style public processions, going down too well in Brighton.

Look what happened to the procession at the Eucharistic Congress in London 1n 1908. After the intervention of the government, the procession went ahead, but with no Blessed Sacrament !

And Brighton in 2007 is not quite the same as Genoa in 1923.

You would need a VERY Catholic country : Malta ? Gozo ?

But they're smashing photos, aren't they ?

Terrific idea Father,it should be possible to get the Fishing Community involved and a procession from the Marina. It would be great for the City and if it could be Multi-Faith the Council would get involved.
