[The Holy Father] Appointed Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, archbishop emeritus of Westminster, Great Britain, as member of the Congregation for Bishops and for the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.

I think H.E. is a very pleasant man and gets far too much unfair criticism.

What consistently comes across is the affection clergy from the diocese of A&B have for him.

I could not imagine a better place for the Cardinal. I would expect a little maturing will take place when faced with the day to day management and responsibility. Please God.
