The Marie Stopes have got this poll up on abortion in Ireland. At the moment it is 28% for legal abortions: 72% against.
Ed West has a piece about the wicked racist eugeniscist and the continuing impact on the black communities in the UK and USA.

Marie Stopes, eh?
I gather that her son married Barnes-Wallis' daughter. Stopes was against the match, as Miss. B-W was physically defective.
Myopia, don't you know.
Yours short-sightedly, etc.
Incidentally, that's one poll in which I shan't take part.
'Utopia could be reached in my lifetime, had I the power to issue inviolable edicts… I would legislate compulsory sterilisation of the insane, feeble-minded… revolutionaries… half-castes'.
Well - with this present Government issuing its anti-life 'inviolable edicts' at a rate of knots, the Utopia that Stopes was dreaming about is fast approaching, here in the UK at least!
What a disgusting piece of work she was - may she rot in hell for her wonderful 'scientific legacy' to the world. No not a very charitable point of view I know, but frankly with this crazy woman and others of like mind and unholy intent, I don't give a damn.
'Utopia could be reached in my lifetime, had I the power to issue inviolable edicts… I would legislate compulsory sterilisation of the insane, feeble-minded… revolutionaries… half-castes'.
If she had her way, we would annihilate the government in one foul swoop.
Another point to mention is what Fison and Howitt found in their research in Kamilaroi and Kurnai. 'Mr Fison who has lived for a long time among uncivilized races,' says Westermarck, 'thinks it will be found that infanticide is far less common among the lower savages than among the more advanced tribes. So what we actually are in todays society are technically compotent ?????? (not barbarians) but egoists.
Excellent comment Elizabeth!!! LOL!!! - the bit about 'If she had her way, we would annihilate the government in one foul swoop'.
'Insane and Feeble Minded' sums up the current imbecilliums in the UK Parliament perfectly! But even I would not go so far as Stopes to issue an 'inviolable edict' to do away with them all on account of their incompetence at running UK Ltd.
That woman Stopes was obviously insane, yet she was honoured as Woman of the Year by the Grauniad?! Ye gods - what an honour indeed!!! I rest my case. Ha ha ha haaaaa......
The Royal Mail had the gall to put her face on a postage stamp not so long ago.
There was an interesting book by Ann Farmer published in 2008 and reviewed in the Catholic Herald a few weeks back. 'By their fruits' tells the history of the eugenics movement and of all the tricks the eugenicists and pro-abortionists got up to in the lead up to the passing of the 1967 act.
Many dirty tricks were played including passing natural miscarriages as abortions to inflate the 'illegal abortion rate' For a synopsis see Barnes and Noble
