Only today I was reading a manual of Islamic law in the university library. Ummdat as-Salik (The Reliance of the Traveller) is a fourteenth-century work which stipulates that a Muslim is not liable to retaliatory punishment of he kills a non-Muslim, or even his own child or grandchild.
No wonder our ancestors crusaded.
Yeah, sure, it's all the evil USA's fault. Just because they harbor terrorists is no reason for us to not make nicy-nice with them.
If there is one thing I am glad of is that the protestants aren't still harping on us regards the crusades because now they see how right the west is and what savages the head hackers are.

My ancestors gave the subcontinent a decent civil code and civil service; we also stopped many barbaric practices e.g. Sati. Perhaps the Likes of Richard Sharpe and Patrick Harper need to march again
The British Empire in it's last days also gave us Bloody Sunday.
