Cui resistite fortes fide
So no change from the previous nuncio's influence on appointments, then.
Fr Ray,If you have a moment, please draw attention to the (content of the) action alert that has been posted on Angelqueen HERE. A small gesture of love for our Blessed Mother, made by enough of Her children, may be enough to sway the West Yorkshire Playhouse administration.
The really interesting and revealing appointment will be his successor in Westminster.
Just deserts for a faithful servant.
This has probably been in the pipeline before the new nuncio took office. I think the more interesting appointment will be Bishop Stack's replacement.
Dear Father RayPlease advise.I am reluctant to submit a comment at present until guidelines appear on the tone and content acceptable from commenters on RC blogs. An excellent observation on the current situation has been posted by a Northern priest outlining what could be called a "Theology of Blogging", and I would encouraged conservative Catholics of his tradition, indeed ALL Catholics to consult it without prejudice.Thank you.
So it would appear...
Diego,Thank you for publicising it here but as people you do this kind of thing do so just to see the Christian getting angry I don't intend giving it more.
Father Ray Is it any wonder that secular interests make use of religious sensitivities to publicise events when some blogs are such hotbeds of ignorance and anger.Regards
"Theology of the Bloggy" is a new 10-part series coming soon to EWTN ...
Thank you for publishing my comment. A serious, good-humoured analysis of the issues will hopefully emerge from the May conference. It appears some have already attempted it:"Blogging as Theological Discourse", Cultural Encounters 6:1 (2010).
a very interestinng appointment but that means ther are 2 vacancies in london(Bishop Longleys replacement hasnt been announced)and i recently noticed that ther will be over 5-if not more see's becoming vacant.i worry that the length of time it takes to appoint Bishops, should thier Lordships be told politely to put thier notice in a year early so a coadjutor could be appointed??
