Get Clean

I like this video. It understands Confession isn't about counselling, the wisdom of the priest, just about the sacramental meeting with God himself.

I like this video too! It's quite punchy and quirky but for all it's brevity manages to reassure. I used to be really scared of "Confession" as a little girl - and I wasn't even that naughty. Something to do with penance as punishment I think. I love the word "Renconciliation" because it points the way to restoration and healing. I like the emphasis here on the disclosure as cleansing. Nothing heals without scarring unless it's completely cleaned.

Very good indeed.

Excellent video.

I am a convert - I was received into the church nearly 20 years ago but have only recently discovered the many blessings of frequent confession. I really wish more emphasis had been placed on this wonderful sacrament in my RCIA course and afterwards.

My advice - just do it!

A beautiful video, short and to the pint. I hope to use it.

I don't drink and I pray every day to the Venerable Matt Talbot, my fellow Dubliner. Maybe I need to pray more to him. But my paternal grandfather worked for years as a labourer in Guinness's brewery. Perhaps that's the reason for the mistake in my previous comment which should have read '. . . to the point'! Blogging can drive some people to drink and bring matters to a head.

Here's another one - it's not quite as good as "Get Clean" but I think it's pretty good - very orthodox, and well worth mentioning:
