The Ordinariate hasn't yet been erected but yesterday the former Anglican Bishops John Broadhurst, Andrew Burnham and Keith Newton were ordained to the diaconate, pledging obedience to "the Ordinary" without mention of who that Ordinary was. Father James Bradley has a slideshow of the ordination and an account of the events.
It is presumed that the document setting up the Ordinariate will be promulgated today under the title of Our Lady of Walsingham.
Pray for these men!

What a very ungracious comment, no wonder you supply only your initials, you are rightly too ashamed to attach your name to something which is so contrary to Charity.
Learn from the generosity of our Holy Father and the generosity of John, Andrew and Keith!
To see men of former high office prostrating themselves as the lowest leaves one moved and very humbled. These brave men bring us the great gifts of themselves into a new ministry as we give them the fullness of the true faith. God bless them all and their families.
Their ordination to the priesthood will take place tomorrow at a location demonstrably Catholic. I hadn't realised how bleak is the chapel at Allen Hall. Not simple, but bleak as a funeral chapel of rest. You will know, Father, but I hope those are not electric candles.
The Ordinariate is here!
Hip hip hooray!!!!!!!!
They have an Ordinary: Their Normative 'extra'-Ordinary; lovely little Bavarian genius with white hair...
Thanks be to God, I pray that these men do much good for the Church in England...
But what a terrible chapel to be ordained in! Ushaw is to close and this modernist nonesense stays. ugh!
Is Fr. Hunwicke going to become an Catholic priest of the Ordinariate in the UK?.
Northern Buoy - This used to be a beautiful little chapel of Perpetual Adoration until it was wreckovated when the seminary moved there in the 1970s (leaving behind a beautiful chapel at Ware). It's a lot less awful than it was a few years ago. You're right about Ushaw, though - it ain't right....

Father, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but, could it be possible that Fathers Burnham and Broadhurst would have already known that Father Newton would most likely be the First Ordinary for the Ordinariate, in so far as he is the only one who is unmarried? And, since all three have yet to be ordained as Catholic priests, it was perhaps prudent to withhold announcement of Father Newton's appointment?
God bless.

Father, my apologies. My earlier comment contained an error in that I had mentioned that Father Newton is unmarried. I have only just read that he is not.
God bless.
