Only two things detracted from the splendour of the occasion.
1) a "Commemorative Issue" of the Bitter Pill which contained a variety of dubious articles (like the one on where all Vincent's Classmates are now: several have left the priesthood and are married with children adn succesful careers- yawn. I put mine on the seat next to me.)
2) some buffoon in scarlet who ruined the atmosphere with his parting shot...
