Why didn't they Tablet me?

I was at a do just after The Tablet Tabletted Fr Tim, Fr Tim was there too, several other priests were there and we all wanted to be Tabletted.
If Mss P. or Curti want names, then they must send a SAE and I will send the full names of the priests concerned.
Tabula delenda est.

You'll just have to try harder, Father. Get someone to organise a petition containing the words "shocked" "disgusted" "upset" "hurt" "excluded" "50 years" "it's not my Mass".
That should do the trick.

Father, maybe you are not more orthodox than Fr. Finnegan. Create some waves so that the "Tabletista" will notice you. LOL

Isn't that a fantastic photo ? I have printed it off, in colour and stuck it above my desk to remind me to occasionally stop being cynical. I wonder if Blackfen shouldn't produce its own 2010 calendar(with saints days all marked on it) and flog it on t'internet to raise funds. You, too, fr Ray. Get thinking about it now. You've both published some superbly eloquent pictures on here over the months. You could fund the price of your church refurbishments if you get moving now. The internet is a global parish of potential fund-raisers.

Does being Tabletted mean your parish gets presented with a set of vestments?

I seem to recall we had a nice rose chasuble at one time but have not seen it for a while.

Do you need new vestments, Father? I'll be in Brighton this summer and perhaps I'll put a little something extra in the collection.

I would prefer to see a violet set for Lent and Advent with three chasubles!

Terribly unfair, isn't it? And I think he's getting a fatted calf for Easter as well.....
