Vincenzo has come up with an alternative sanctuary design for Crofton Park. I am sure I'll get in trouble for saying it but I think I prefer Vincenzo version.
Father, I have just seen the design for the presbyterium area; it isn't great, but it is simple which will (one hopes) place the focus on the altar where it belongs.
If Vincenzo intended to go for a more 'traditional' design,Gothic would have been better rather than something plucked out of a parish church in Malta (with respect to my Maltese friends). The more I look at Vincenzo's design the more utterly hideous it appears. (Ouch!)

Father, I have not seen the design intended for the Mass for the beatification, but this one is sickening insipid.
I think you mean there are elements which do follow classical proportions.
Tacky Fr Ray..very tacky!

Father, Yes, there are most certainly elements which fail to follow classical proportions :)
Parepidemos, Jackie,
Do you think it is just possible that this is ironic?
Probably not!
" Parepidemos "...wow that's a rare word!
Where's Cecil B DeMille when you need him . . . .
That is horrible too. You can't do that with classical. You probably can't do classical any more and be convincing about it.
The trouble is probably the scale of the thing.
I think Babs might have a point.
Babs certainly has a point!
Mind you, when you look at the REAL design.............
