Oh how sad! i know lots who because of ill mental health have tried or succeeded in commiting suicide, May God be merciful to them all...& i pray for the parents at this tragic time of great sufering..
Our thoughts and prayers are with all your family. May His spirit of love be with you during this very difficult time.
Amen.
How very, very sad.
I am not a medical doctor (I'm a Ph.D.), but I do want to say this:
When people decide they can no longer cope with life, whether through a mental illness such as clinical depression, or through some secret worry (real or imagined), these people feel very alone and very desparate.
In most cases, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to recognise the signs.
Which is why those left behind should not be too ready to blame themselves.
As so many people do.
May God bring peace to the broken hearted.
As to the poor young woman, I have no hesitation in commending her soul to the understanding and ever-loving Lord :
Lux perpetua luceat ea.
Tragic. Especially for the family left behind. Prayers will be offered.
Someone unknown to you, quite far away, is praying for your daughter's repose. Requiescat in pace.
My family prayed for her and her family at Mass yesterday.
I wasn't well enough for Mass but offered rosary for her and them.
As it happens I have just blogged on this very thing.
God bless
I think this is a post where I think people should be offering prayers.
I have been remiss in not reading thoroughly comments by regular comment makers, some of which I have now deleted.
Pray for Venessa, whose requiem takes place tomorrow
