Is that a diminutive minoret? Does this church include Islamic worship?
Et Expecto, the cross on top might be a slight giveaway, as might the link Fr Ray provided which takes you to an (Eastern) Orthodox blog.
Hey, this is really cool!!! While I'm thinking of it, God bless those tank commanders in '91 who refused to fire on the Russian people.
Et Expecto - I believe it is known as an onion dome, for obvious reasons.
There is a fascinating interview with Cardinal Avery Dulles (who wrote about the different models of the church) on a recently discovered Canadian website www.saltandlighttv.org. He describes his protestant roots and conversion on the video which was made on the eve of his 86th birthday.
