Though the weather is dull, today in Rome "in" people are mostly buying Rose, in the Roman style.

I swear, there must be a live webcam set up outside that place!!! Just think of the people you'd see coming in or out.

Rose vestments? Wonderful! But why the crimped style? Why not a full vestment rather than a cut-down tabard? It makes you think of a sandwich-board! Surely we can do better (and perhaps more economically) in these challenged times.

Click the picture to see it full-sized, and scroll over to the right side. Full vestments are on display on a body form inside the store. I'm guessing that the smaller "sandwich board" tabard fits in the window display better. But that's only a guess.
