Indulgence for Lourdes Issued

Decree of the Major Penitentiary of the Apostolic Penitentiary, His Eminence Cardinal Stafford, made public a Plenary Indulgence to mark the 150th anniversary of the Apparitions in Lourdes.

Fr Justin has a good post on how ancient and how Catholic Indulgences are.

Fr Tim ran a post sometime ago entitled Plenery Indulgences are not Impossible.

Thank you for this posting - I went on to Fr Finnegan's site and enjoyed looking at the photographs he took in Lourdes.

I was very surprised to learn that a daily Tridentine Mass was planned to coincide with the French National Pilgrimage there last August. I was there at that time and scrutinised the announcement boards each day but did not see any mention and as I have only just seen this particular posting, I did not know about it.

Does any reader know whether the Masses took place or were they merely discussed and then not celebrated?
