There are some quite stunning photographs of the Traditional Mass, by Vernon Quaintance which took place at Southwark Cathedral today.
The Congreagation looks very impressive for a wet Saturday afternoon, especially as in England the Immaculte Conception is not a Holy Day.

Vernon's a great photographer..thanks for sharing his pictures..
Father better hike up that alb with the cincture a little higher, or else he's going to end up ripping the edge of all that lace off before he can say "Dominus Vobiscum."
I would not have believed it possible to dignify the dreadful slab of a high altar that was fairly recently, at enormous expense, installed in St George's Cathedral. It's a pity that it cannot be permanently furnished. But the albs ...! Gothic vestments and lace do not go together. Only the deacon looks properly vested. Zigzag and Tripup look ridiculous.
