The crib: prepared by Gerrard Hatton of "Cribs "r" Us", well actually he is a seminarian, working in a local parish, he seems to have designed several local cribs this year.
The altar, normally we have the candles and relics bunched up on the "horns" of the altar, but the current practice in Rome favours this arrangement.

Wonderful vestment and great altar arrangement. The happenings in Rome have given us all an example to emulate.
Pity about the fuse box, light switches and crooked vesting.

The photograph was taken at Martins, it is always a bit dark.
As for slightly less than straight chasuble, my apologies.
I understand some clergy actually have a mirror in their sacristy! I am afraid I regard such a device as vainglorious, "the devil's pictureframe"! You are not suggesting we have one are you?
Well, in some quarters a slightly askew chasuble or a laundry tag can be endearing. I guess it depends on how endearing you want to be! If I hadn't have pulled down the back of Fr. S.'s chasuble just before we went out for Mass the other day, he'd have gone out for Christmas with his chasuble bunched up in the back! I was "otherwise occupied" for a moment when he vested and he forgot to "check six."

I would just like to say that the church (and the vestments) were even more beautiful in reality than they appear on the blog!
