Pope In Assisi

There seems to have been a awful lot of hugging in Assisi yesterday, even nose to nose encounters!
...but read the Holy Father's sermon and his Angelus talk.

Though the media might like to downplay it, this man is widely beloved already, and especially so by the kind of Catholics who the media particularly dislikes: the ones who live Catholicism as their identity. God bless and save Benedict XVI

The 'nose to nose encounter'is called a hongi. It is a traditional New Zealand formal greeting.
