Dogs at C of E Weddings

According to the Sunday Times:

Church of England priests have been given the power to include dogs in the wedding service. A spokesman said: “While it would be inappropriate for a dog to replace (the) father of the bride, there would be no sensible grounds for objecting to it taking the role of ring bearer.”

comment: Not in my Church! Thank God I am a Catholic!

Hardly placing Christ at the center of worship or marriage, the more we get together with the CofE the more we are tainted by it.

Has no-one in the C of E read Revelation 22: 14-15 about those who are admitted to the Heavenly City? "Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tellers, and the sexually immoral, murderers, adulterers, and everyone of false speech and false life."

Well Michael there used to be a minister at St Bartholomew's Brighton who regularly did tarot readings at parish functions. That only leaves murderers.

However your comments so far have done little to impress me instead we should be a little more constuctive and not so we are better than they attitude?
