Blair's Lecture

Have a look at Fr Tim's blog and the links.
I have been waiting for some sign of his conversion, haven't seen one yet.

It's Antichrist, isn't it? I don't mean to be melodramatic, but it is: the contempt for dogma and true worship; the sneering syncretism; the culture-of-death veneered unapologetically with progressist meliorism; the fixation with politics; all wrapped up in a trendy, neat little middle-class package.

The picture says it all. I'm off to bed, with Dostoyevsky.

Through the prayers of our holy fathers, Lord Jesus Christ Our God have mercy on us.

I do not know about Antichrist, but certainly anti-Christ.

There never was anything more than the grin, so what should anyone expect it of Tony Blair?

Looking at that photo brought to mind the words in Apocalypse ... something about .. 'the abomination which is in the place it ought not to be....'. I'm sure others can correct my poor recollection of scripture.

Tony Blair 'ought not to be' preaching from the pulpit of Westminster Cathedral! Who the heck does he think he is???? Even more of a question - what is our Cardinal doing???

Do you think that he is ever frightened?

It is reported(Mulier Fortis) that T.B. has recently been helping with fundraising for Stonewall, the militant political lobbying group for practicing homosexuals.I know he's only been a Catholic for a few months but I am wondering when he will get round to supporting some charities that have a true respect for human life and the truth and meaning of human sexuality.
